So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.” – Mark 11:22

“My life wasn’t the same after meeting Ms. Laura”

When I met Ms. Laura & became a part of her ministry 5 1/2 years ago, I was lost in ‘the world.’  I had some revelation knowledge that I wanted to speak / was called to speak, but knew that I needed to be slow to speak & quick to learn the word of God.  Change took place when I allowed Jesus into my heart.  The change was so drastic that it was like going from eating in McDonald’s to eating at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.  When I allowed Jesus ‘in,’ I was then able to get back up.  Jesus IS the Only One who can deliver you.  Pages from the Bible will produce results.  When I started being obedient to the word of God, my life began to change.  However, change did no happen over night because God is not a magician.  Giving God your ‘heart’ is the key to any type of deliverance.

My life wasn’t the same after meeting Ms.Laura at Christian Worship Service in the Correctional Facility.  She helped to increase my desire for the Word.  My desire for the Word increased, as I gave more attention to it.  Now, I’m at the point where I HAVE TO HAVE the Word cause it addresses any and all issues.  To get over the drug addiction that I had, I didn’t go to rehab.  I went to a Christian Program that believed that ‘the Word of God’ is the ONLY thing you need to flush the taste of drugs out of your system.  That method worked for me.  God cleaned me up completely.  When I was out in the world, I did everything from sniffing dope to shooting dope.  When I was in the world, I knew how to do ‘wrong’ ‘right.’  The devil told me that I’d NEVER come out, BUT JESUS pulled me out!

I’m living proof that if you dedicate yourself to Jesus / to His word, He WILL pull you out!  When I met Ms. Laura when she came to speak at the Correctional Facility, she met me at my lowest point.  I thank God that He sent her when He did and ask Him to continue to bless her.  Today, I’m an evangelist preacher.  I’ve completed Bible Ministry School and have a library full of tapes from Pastor Dollar.

‘Fear’ kept me from God, but He was there for me when I needed answers.  For the rest of my life I’ll walk by faith and not by sight.  It’s NOT easy, but when I was getting high without a job – that wasn’t easy either, but that didn’t stop me.  I justified ‘wrong’ as being ‘right.’  Therefore, it’s easy to do what’s right.  I always tell people to stop blaming others for where they are cause they’ll never get to where God has called them to be, when they play the ‘blame game.’  You see, there was a time in my life when I said that I planned on getting high to the very end.  Now, because of my relationship with Jesus, I despise drugs.  I thank God for where I am now with my life and where He’s brought me from.  Now, I have to have HIM, instead of that ‘bag.’  I start praying at 3:30 a.m. EVERY morning now.  I’m very thankful for the guidance that Ms. Laura has given me.  I thank God for using her.  I thank Jesus for not giving up on me!
